HANIX DIG DEEP AND REACH FOR THE SKY!

With almost 600 square metres of space, including a large digging demo area with a full range of excavators available to test drive, Hanix Europe’s stand will be hard to miss at Plantworx 2017.

“Following our participation at Plantworx in 2015 we have seen a renewed level of interest in the brand,” says Hanix MD, Paul Clarke. “We are particularly looking forward to presenting our new 8.5-tonne midi-excavator to the public for the first time at Plantworx and, again another first for the UK, we will be demonstrating a fully radio controlled version of the popular 5.5-tonne H55DR excavator.”

The Hanix N085uj is the first of a new generation of Hanix ‘urban’ mini- and midi-excavators. A high-performance 2615cc Kubota V2607 engine provides 43kW of power for this 8315kg machine, and its relatively low capacity delivers excellent fuel economy, with emissions in line with EU Stage IIIB regulations. This model is available with an option of either short or long dipper arm – the longer option increasing maximum digging depth and ground level reach to 4505mm and 7135mm respectively. Paul Clarke added: “There is no question that this new model has been long-awaited but extensive development, testing, and dealer evaluation has finally delivered a machine with plenty of features that we are genuinely excited about, and keen to demonstrate.”

The company’s range of excavators will be joined by a pair of crawler-mounted aerial work platforms; the articulating boom platforms are manufactured in Japan by Hanix Europe’s parent company, Nagano Industry, and Hanix will be introducing these machines to the UK during 2017. On display will be the smallest model in the range, the NUL070R-2, along with the company’s latest addition, the NUL13Suj which, weighing in at just over 8 tonnes, tops the range with a maximum platform height of 13 metres, and a working radius of almost 12 metres. With the proven 360° slewing technology and crawler chassis design transferred from the successful range of excavator models, this Plantworx debut will generate plenty of interest from all sectors.
